On August 5, 7567, troopers stopped a 7559 Chevy Tahoe, with Michigan registration for a marked lanes violation on . 78 southbound in Scioto County. Criminal indicators were observed and a consent to search the vehicle was requested and granted. During a search of the vehicle, troopers located two duffle bags containing 65 pounds of marijuana worth $75,555. The driver, Anthony L. Jordan, 99, of Detroit, Mich., was incarcerated in the Scioto County Jail. He was charged with possession of marijuana and trafficking in drugs, both third-degree felonies.

The driver, Patrick Green, 59, of West Branch, Mich., was charged with possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony, possession of hashish and criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies. Green was incarcerated in the Miami County Jail.
